I beleive that each individual be it a men or women has his/her own character and nature, above all. But…., maybe and probably women are a bit more ‘complicated/sophisticated’ emotionally and psychologically, no?

Men and women are different at the first sight, there are differences in their physical and psychological character. But they have more common ressemblance and common nature rather than the differences. As AMMA says in each person there is a man and a woman.
In avatharas AMMA is the perfect example of this siva sakthi ayikyam (union of Siva and Shakti)

We may look different, but inside we are all souls. Like Amma says, in every man there is a woman, and in every woman there is a man, and we need to develop those inner natures.

I think that every Man has a hidden Woman nature, and every Woman has a hidden Man nature in them… But when it comes to character, it is moulded by the various experiences each individual undergo during the course of his/her life…

I think women are better than men in many ways. If we find less of women out in the world to serve humanity, it is only because of their physical insecurities. Give them enough protection, respect and love and you can see each woman as the “Universal Mother” Herself in action.
To bring out the best in a woman, love and respect her as one would love and respect one’s own mother. You couldn’t expect the same from a man if you treat him like your father! :-)

As Amma said: “Amma is trying to awaken the motherhood in people, both in man and woman. These motherly qualities are dominant in women and dormant in men. Today’s women are trying to imitate men and in the process they end up reaching a state where they have neither qualities. Both in men and woman, there should be a balance between the masculine and feminine qualities. Amma is trying to awaken this motherly nature and help them attain this balance so that they can attain and spread the message of patience, selfless love and compassion to the world.”

In my opinion, men and women are the same - only that they think, express, react and respond different…

In a spiritual sense, men and women are the same. But on this plane, the spirit is expressed differently through the male/female form. So we are the same, but different.

Each person is different, in essence we are all one, one Atman, one soul.

Each person is different and indiviual just llike fingerprints. And Male and female are different in individual, internal, external, sociological, psychological, physiological, and spiritual expressions and they honor, balance, and compliment one another in an optimal encounter. That is what i see when i see Amma and Swamijis interacting with each other in sacred relationship. BUT the Divnine Mother is like the circle that encompasses and holds both the yin and yang. She Rules , for She is the Creatrix and container for All and In all the diversity and indiviuality She only counts to One.

As regards the physical body we are different. Psychologically and emotionally we both crave attention and love. As regards the ego women are traditionally trained to have less ego (usually). Mentally we are both intelligent. We both may have the same negativities like anger, desire, moodiness, ambition etc. Positive attributes like compassion and forbearance are seen in women more than men, but that’s also a moot point these days. Are they different deep inside - not really!

I think they are opposite. like Magnetic Poles..
but then the two poles exists in one magnet..

may be men and women are one but they have opposite CHARGE… :)

We are all the same in essence. Only when the ego or personality is in control is there a difference.
When one finally reaches ‘Silence’, meaning effortless no-thought, then one sees the real truth that all ‘things’ in this universe are one and the same.

Men and Women are children of GOD, Physically different but otherwise same.Atman or divine Atma is the same for all creatures of God.

Men and women have physiological differences and the way they express themselves externally is little different, but internally they are very similar. They both need love, security, respect, etc. Amma says God created both equal. Our true Self, the Soul is sexless.

I feel man and women are not in essence different, but each one has acquired their own way to express their nature and character in a certain pattern of blended emotions and reasoning, very often influenced by the circumstances and the environment, women more inclined towards emotions and men towards reason.

    I read in paramahamsa’s book,

    vol4: in malayalam as he told;

“Prakruthi bavena, purushane, Iswarane, Bakthan alinganam cheyyan Ichikkunnu….”

I have thought many a time…May amma took birth as Kali [paramahamsa’s idol] for destroying the ego and negatives inside us.

Amma took birth and give darshan as HUG… It may be her child’s wish that she came down to all of us… :)

We do see differences in behaviour and tendencies between men and women. Generally women are more emotional and men more aggressive. But removing the top layers, the mind for either is driven by similar attributes. Both men and women have both masculine and feminine qualities so depending on what is prominent in the individual, the expressions of the ego and emotion may vary.

At birth babies of both sexes are the same - later, society and culture dictates behavior & tendencies. When we evolve spiritually and grow older, those differences again dissolve.

Women and men are like different sides of the same coin. Both have their own identities. But we should not get in to too much of identity that we forget own self.

I believe there is difference between a man and women since there is a physical difference between these two. Both are bestowed with different kinds of qualities. Though the soul is the same.

    aumsree Says:

Physically and mentally, men and women have different qualities, features and emotions.
Yet some of these can be found to some degree in both men and women.
But both have inborn divinity (Love and Sacrifice) that’s same whether male or female.

Middle level: Which eye u doesn’t like? Right eye or Left eye??
Outer level: Woman can’t climb upon a coconut tree…:-)

Yes, each one is essentially different, but can’t be separated too. As Shiva and Shakti cannot be highly potent without each other; so is men and women.
