Because it is sweet and it requires less effort to eat them. Everyone likes sweet things in life, that is the reason why we all have come to Amma. Like an Icecream/Chocolate, Amma is soooooooooooo sweet.

Amma Herself is chocolate and ice-cream for me!
Do I still have to answer why I like them?

It is every child’s favourite and I truly become crazy for it like an innocent child gorging everything that comes my way, but surely within the limits. The chocolate Amma gives is soooo sweeeeeeet, like her.

Because we do not enjoy pain.
Chocolate & Ice cream are small fractions representing the Bliss of the truth that is hidden by the clouds of ignorance.
This is why we chase seeming pleasure.

Because Amma eats ice cream during the retreats in the US
Because Amma gives us chocolate kisses
    Because chocolate has natural caffeine
Because it’s not such a bad vasana vs. others
Because Green and Black’s white chocolate, and Sunspire Sundrops are awesome - they empty my wallet every time I’m back in the US.

Just share both of them, just one or many. How can one convey the relish expect experiencing it? For the answer’s sake, I would say, it’s delicious, dainty and delicate. Not much work on the teeth, yet tasty …

    Because they’re sweet!

The mind is most of the time a trouble maker and makes a lot of noise. When eating some chocolate or delicious ice cream we can enter a temporary peaceful state and forget about all the daily pain.
When eating it in a conscious way it can be a tasteful meditation!

Because it is sweet, soft, smooth, and cool. There is a burst of flavor that dissapates rapidly, leaving me wanting more. It is soooooo good! But i have not had any in a long time.

Because just like love, they can be shared and is liked alike by most of them starting from kids to elderly people… Just like how difficult it is to explain the experience of a moment of bliss spent with Amma, it is difficult to explain in words the “why” question behind the liking of chocolate and icecream…it can only be experienced…

Just like sripati states….chocolates for prasad and ice cream for dessert when Amma serves dinner to us during the Canadian retreats as well. :) Anything from Amma is ……………………..yum!!!!
