Well to respond is almost a kind of reaction for me. I had never done something like that before and i enjoy it. I love to reflect on life questions. I don’t think i have spiritually benefited yet. But maybe i will. Its nice to share anyway. Thank you

I read and answer these blogs because I feel this is another way of communicating with Amma and other people who love Amma. I feel like I can expand my thoughts here about things I normally can’t talk about with others. I think I have spiritually benefited from this because there are questions that are asked which really put me in a state of mind that make me think of Amma. Everytime I need to renew the connection between Amma and me, I write a response to a blog, or comment on a picture or article

People like to express their ideas.. and we like to know what others think. and these questions sometimes gives us an opportunity to think about certain aspects we never imagined… it’s interesting…
ammakuttan Says:i never thought about its spiritual benefits… as of now

This is our own school/home to learn things. Sure, it is a source of spiritual resource for each and every one of her child.. even ammas words are simple vedic. Also good place to share things amma said earlier which could been new to a new user coming here.

I know that it’s another ego-identified mind that is writing these questions, but I see it as Blessed Amma herself talking to me and thus I give exactly what I feel in that moment.

I like reading the responses although I have not responded to all questions… It is difficult to quantify the spiritual benefits out of these…

i believe Amma’s message can come from any source like from matruvani, amritavani, Amma devotees or even this blog. so i read the answers posted here by Amma’s beloved children. yes sometimes, i have been able to see a different view of things after reading the answers posted here. i post answers sometimes so that after seeing the number of responses, you dont discontinue this wonderful section
so please continue this question and answer section. you never know someone in need must have got a message thro’ these answers.

One reason I respond is that these questions make me think about things that I usually don’t often think about. And I agree with what Cbsuresh said, it IS difficult!
ila Says:April 18th, 2008 at 8:05 pm
This is like a satsang for me, sharing thoughts on God or Amma with people who have similar minds as mine. Also it makes me think on the questions posted and then reading other people’s thoughts, I get to contemplate on those things. I feel little connected mentally with Amma and Her circle of precious devotees through these blogs.

i came across the concept of blogging very accidentally….and because it is for Amma i got hooked…….writing makes me feel closer to amma…….each question gives an opportunity to relive the moments spent with her, to once again recollect the sweetness of each meeting….
vibha Says:thank you soo much for giving such a beautiful chance to express our love for amma……

I read this to connect with Amma. She is reaching out to us from wherever She is physically. It’s been nice to connect with others in the same ring. The questions are interesting, provocative, playful…And often related to something happening in my mind.
mm Says:I have learnt so-o-o-o much - from others and from having to introspect! Of course everyone’s thoughts are like different strands from my own mind, some similar, some opposing, some I can pin down, some I can’t. And like Big Swamiji says the thoughts are really from outside. From whom? Amma. It feel like the questioner is Amma and all the others are also Her.

I find it a light touch, an Amma connection with other devotees. Reading and participating in the blog has been a source of positive love and light. Also, for the devotees that are not able to live at an ashram or those that do not have an Amma group for satsang, it has provides a gentle space of satsang via the web. Amma is so far beyond anything that can be expressed through words or computer, actually it is probably an egoic farce. But from my child’s heart it is just Amma’s children blowing kisses to their beloved Mother and Guru.
ammaslatika Says:April 19th, 2008 at 9:15 am
Yes, it benefits spiritually bcoz so many good thoughts are shared and we feel close to Amma.
ammasnimmy Says:April 19th, 2008 at 9:46 am
Since it’s our website, we the children of AMMA express our thoughts and believes. It’s indeed a blessing from AMMA
chandran Says:April 19th, 2008 at 11:15 am
I believe that: Amma teaches Her children, giving messages through situations or through different mediums. Only those tuned to Her very special channel get the vibration and are able to understand the message. This blog is one of the mediums.
Prem@pune Says:Amma is omnipresent, omniscient, all-pervasive ……. She is the creator and creation …… Amma Sharanam…..
I cannot see, hear, smell, talk, walk or do any karma without Her wish; even my very thought and each breathing is of Her wish.
Yes, I believe that I have spiritually benefited with this blog.

i feel very close to AMMA when i am answering and feel that i am attending personal question and answer session with AMMA.
ammadas Says:April 19th, 2008 at 11:39 pm
I look forward to reading each new question. I enjoy thinking about how I would answer (although I dont usually post my thoughts) and reading everyones response. I think this whole process is another very good technique to apply Amma’s teachings in my life. It is definitely a type of satsang and good for those of us who cannot be with Amma physically very much and who do not have much oppurtunity to discuss spiritual subjects with those around them.
sripati Says:It is so nice to think of Amma asking about the replies we give -thank you for posting that information. Amma has infinite ways of letting us know how much She loves us and is always thinking about our spiritual progress!

It’s a wonderful way to share thoughts and experiences with devotees around the world. Reading the answers and thinking of my own answer makes me realize that no matter where we are, we are all connected - and that we are not alone. We are all little children in Amma’s vast lap of love.
sujatha Says:April 20th, 2008 at 2:14 pm
I got tears in my eyes reading this question. For me this opportunity to share has been to remove my awareness of how my answers will be perceived, to remove my fear of how my thoughts come across. I have had intense stage fright and the thought of doing anything on the stage especially in front of Amma makes me nervous so this blogs medium has been more gentle for me. I have understood the beauty of how every answer is perfect and I feel Amma in the questions and the answers.
bk@20175 Says:Thank you very much Amma.

The questions make me think, and my answers reflect my ways. Sometimes my answers are similar to others’. At other times, different answers show me perspectives different than mine. These questions have helped me notice my positives and negatives and limitations. Hence I think it has benefited me spiritually. I am thankful for this series. Her grace made it happen.
vijayane Says:April 21st, 2008 at 11:31 am
these posting makes you think of amma at least for some time. please expand with depth, so that devotees get mentally connected to amma forever.
Renu Wadhwa Says:April 22nd, 2008 at 11:19 am
when we read these questions on the spot I feel AMMA is asking me a question and I start writing the answer as it occurs to me then when my answer is reproduced I have a feeling that AMMA has accepted my answer and after that I read other answers too and I am benefitted by everyting I read because you come to know the aspects of the question too.
ammasdasan Says:April 22nd, 2008 at 11:33 am
Those were not merely questions but it appeared for me an order (advise) towards a better change. Definitely yes. It helped a lot. The influence is far reaching on its readers, like one who studies Bhagavath Geetha or listens to AMMA’s Satsang.

Thank you very much, since I have benefited very much from this section. The questions make us think as to what we should reply so in a way we are introspecting ourselves. i think It will benefit everybody who tries to respond.
